Alberta… Well I remember someone saying to me we are lucky. We have oil. And I realized they did not understand the Albertan spirit! If all we had was grass, we would have make a market for grass! And people would still be saying “You are Lucky.”

We can put our heads together and make it happen! That is who we are! We are problem solvers and creators! We can find this cure. We have waited on Doctors and they have done a ton to make things better for us, but the world donated their private computers to help find something with the vaccines. Let’s do more! Let’s find something to heal those who have been impacted by Covid. SO we need you. We need everyone here to pitch in and help our neighbours, our brothers, sisters, family and friends. If you have been impacted n any way, depression, physical sickness, anything, we need you to step forward and be a part of the process of healing. Cause we want you better! We need you, want you and respect you!

I am an Albertan and a part time BC-er. One thing I know about you is that you are the keepers of the land, sea and sky. You are the protectors of the whales and the magnificent trees!  I know Alberta and BC have their squabbles, but truly, what would we be without you? You give a voice to those who cannot speak. You have many natural healers in BC. You live naturally. Did your grandparents have cures that were passed down through your generations? Being that you give voice to the quiet ones, will you not now find a voice for those who have been impacted by Covid? Will you help? If many people die which seems to be the consensus with the Delta variant, who will be left to take your place as keepers of the forests of the West?

Please. Please…We need you. I need you! Let’s cure Covid for those in BC and heal those with depression, anxiety and any other impact this difficult time has had on people. I know you are amazing and you can do this. I love you and who you are, Keepers of the Forest, Voice for the silent.
